Daniel H. Drechsel, Chairman
Dan joined Ftrans in 2008 and serves as a member of Ftrans' Board of Directors. His more than 25 years experience includes increasingly high profile executive-level general management, sales, operations, and technology management positions, and he is known for his extensive expertise at successfully growing emerging businesses into large-scale, highly successful corporations. Dan joined Ftrans from SAP where he was General Manager of the Banking business in the Americas. Prior to SAP, Dan served as President of Global Energy Decisions, a leading provider of data and technology to the energy businesses and was President and COO of S1 Corporation (Nasdaq: SONE), a leading provider of technology solutions for financial institutions and one of the key leaders in distribution channel innovation surrounding the growth of internet banking. Previous to that, Dan served in key executive roles with CheckFree, ADP and D&B.
Dan earned a B.S. in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Mercer University.
Gardiner W. Garrard III, CFA, Founder and Managing Partner, TTV Capital
Gardiner is a founder and Managing Partner of TTV Capital. Gardiner has been an active investor in public and private technology companies for over ten years. Prior to founding TTV, Gardiner was a principal of Shoptaw & Garrard, LLC, an Atlanta-based investment management firm. At Shoptaw & Garrard, he worked on the development and implementation of investment strategies, portfolio management, and fundraising for the firm's real estate private equity funds. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder. His community involvement includes board or advisory board roles at the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Values-Based Leadership Institute at Goizueta Business School, and The Emory Eye Center. Gardiner is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), and was recognized in 2004 with the Goizueta Business School's Outstanding Recent Alumni Award. Gardiner currently serves on the Board of Directors of Connecture, Inc., Perimeter Internetworking, Inc., Ftrans, and iKobo, Inc.
Gardiner earned a B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he was awarded the Art Dietz faculty award for excellence in finance.
Brian Hirsch, Managing Director, Tribeca Venture Partners
Brian is a co-founder of Tribeca Venture Partners. Prior to starting Tribeca Venture Partners, Brian was a founder and Managing Director of GSA Venture Partners, formerly the venture arm of Greenhill & Co (NYSE: GHL). Prior to GSAVP, Brian was a Principal at Sterling Venture Partners and led the firm’s investments in technology-related companies. Prior to joining Sterling Venture Partners, Brian was a vice president at ABN AMRO Private Equity (“AAPE”), the U.S. venture capital group of ABN AMRO N.V., at the time one of the world’s ten largest banks. He is currently a board member of Flat World Knowledge, FTRANS, HomeSphere, Informous, Lendio, Pontiflex, RealDirect, Spanfeller Media Group, TRAFFIQ and Vook. Brian is also a board observer at Crowdtap. He previously sat on the boards of YellowJacket (acquired by InterContinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE)), KnowledgeStorm (acquired by TechTarget (NASDAQ: TTGT)) and eCredit (acquired by Fidelity Ventures).
Brian holds a BA in Economics and American Studies from Brandeis University.
Michael Seckler
Michael Seckler is co-founder of Euclidean Technologies, a pioneering technology & investment management firm. Prior to Euclidean, Mr. Seckler was Division Vice President of ADP Employease, a fast-growing $150M business employing 700 people within ADP. In this role, Mr. Seckler had overall P&L responsibility and was responsible for operations, product development, and strategy for the business. Prior to this role, Mr. Seckler co-founded the innovative Software-as-a-Service firm, Employease. At Employease, Mr. Seckler was responsible for business development and helped lead the company to 36 straight quarters of revenue growth prior to the company's acquisition by ADP for $160M. Prior to Employease, Mr. Seckler was a Consultant at Mercer Management Consulting in Boston.
Mr. Seckler graduated from Williams College with a dual bachelor's degree in History & Geology.
